Privacy policy

This policy covers funova.ai in every language. The controller of your personal data is BizMate Company Limited (Công ty TNHH BizMate, brand BizMateHub), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For anything about your data, email hello@bizmatehub.com.

1. What we collect

• When you subscribe by email: your email address, the page you subscribed from, your language, and the time you gave consent.
• When you use the contact form: your name, email, topic and message.
• When you create a member account: username, email, an encrypted password and any profile details you add.
• When you use the chat box: the messages you send, so we can answer you.
• Usage data: pages viewed, clicks on tool links, device type and approximate country or city, collected with Google Analytics so we know which guides are useful. If you are in Europe, this only happens after you accept analytics cookies (see section 3).
• Video link source: if you arrive through a short link from our videos (funova.ai/v/…), we note which video sent you, to understand which videos help viewers.

We never collect payment card numbers. When you buy a tool we review, you pay on the provider’s own website.

2. Why we use it, and on what basis

• Sending the emails you asked for (guides, new articles). Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
• Replying to messages and partnership requests. Basis: your request, and our legitimate interest in answering it.
• Running member accounts. Basis: providing the service you signed up for.
• Measuring and improving content. Basis: your consent for analytics cookies where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding which content helps readers.
• Preventing spam and keeping the website secure. Basis: our legitimate interest.

We handle personal data in line with Vietnamese personal data protection law and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK GDPR. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Cookies and Google Analytics consent

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. If your browser is set to a European time zone, you see a cookie banner on your first visit. Until you click Accept, analytics and advertising storage stay off, and Google only receives cookieless signals that cannot identify you. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings (also in the footer).

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works; only log-in and similar features may be affected.

4. Service providers

• Google Analytics (Google): website statistics, as described above.
• Brevo (Brevo SAS, France): stores subscriber emails and sends our emails. Brevo processes data only on our instructions.
• Google Fonts (Google): loads the website font, so your browser sends your IP address to Google’s servers.
• Embedded YouTube videos (Google): when you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies.
• Chat box: operated by BizMate (app.bizmate.vn).
• Affiliate partners: when you click through to a tool’s website, that provider may set cookies to record the referral, under its own privacy policy.

5. Where data is stored and for how long

Our website is hosted on servers in Vietnam. Subscriber emails are also stored by Brevo in the EU, and analytics data by Google, which may process it in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, the providers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

• Subscriber emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Contact messages: as long as needed to handle your request.
• Analytics data: according to the data retention setting in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.

Only BizMate administrators can access the data stored on our website.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal data we hold about you, or give you a copy;
• correct or delete it;
• stop or restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before).

Email hello@bizmatehub.com from the address concerned. We reply within one month. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Funova is written for working creators and business owners. It is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date below. If a change is significant, we will say so on the website.
